Organic Hawaiian Honey

Organic and pure honey harvested from the pristine Hawaiian orchards are now imported and available in Singapore. There are three varietals available. These are Macadamia nut blossom honey which pure, raw but not organic. There two varietals are raw and organic honey: Organic Lehua Honey and Organic Christmas Berry Nut. Amongs these three varietals, the Macadamia nut blossom honey is the sweetest. Lehua honey is creamy in texture, and it is ideal for use as spread on bread and crackers. The Christmas Berry honey is my favorite as far as taste and flavor are concerned. A medium ambered honey with rich texture and a tint of brown sugar and molasses, top with slight spicy note, it is just irresistable.

Hawaii Island, the largest of the Hawaiian islands, also affectionately known as the Big Island, is the largest producers of Hawaiian honey. Amongst the producers, Big Island Bees accounts for about two third of the Hawaiian honey production. It is a run 4th generation bee keepers, Garnett Puett and Wendi Puett Grad. Big Island Bees has 3800 hives and 190,000,000 bees!
